MICROBLADING eYEBROW TATTOO
How long does the procedure take?
From beginning to end you can expect the appointment to be about 2 hours. The procedure is split between two appointments that are 6-8 weeks apart to allow for healing and ink to fully settle. The initial procedure can take between 60-90 minutes and the second appointment can take between 30-60 minutes.
Am I a suitable candidate for Microblading?
Microblading is for anyone except those who are pregnant,
breastfeeding on Retinol in past 2 weeks or on Accutane. Also not
recommended for anyone who has undergone chemo in the past 6 months, has
Epilepsy, Hypertension or Diabetic.
Does the application hurt?
We take every precaution necessary and available to ensure the micro-pigmentation is as comfortable as possible. A wide range of medical grade anesthetics is used for your comfort. Some clients find it a little uncomfortable whereas other clients report no discomfort at all. A combination of 2 anesthetics are used, first a topical numbing cream and then a local anesthetic is introduced once the microblading procedure has started. This is reapplied during the treatment for your comfort.
How do you choose the shape?
We choose the shape and style together. At the beginning of the
microblading procedure we will take measurements and discuss your
preferences. We will then draw in a shape and outline for your new brows that I
recommend and we work together to perfect this to suit your preference
and measurements. As well as to check symmetry and position. I will not begin the treatment until you are completely satisfied with the shape and color of your brows.
How do you choose the color?
We choose a color together by applying small amounts of different colored pigments to the skin near your brows and selecting the best match. This is a custom blend to best match your skin tone, features and personal preference.
How long does the Microblading Result Last?
This varies from person to person and a color refresh is recommended on average from 12-18 months after your initial microblading procedure. After the initial appointment a 6 week touch up is recommended.
What will they look like immediately after the procedure?
Your brows may be a little swollen, red and sometimes a bit blanched. This is all very normal. They may look darker for the first week or so before they begin to fade out to a softer color.
Will my brows fade?
Your body’s skin changes over time and so will any semi-permanent makeup coloration implanted into the skin’s layers. However, this natural fading process takes years and touch ups are easily done and recommended as your color fades over time.
How long is the recovery or healing time?
Many clients can walk right out the door ready to show off their new brows. Initially stronger in color, your new brows will soften to a natural looking and beautiful hue in 2-3 weeks. On average they fade about 50% to its lasting color.
Does it hurt afterwards?
The area can be a little tender for the first few hours after the numbing wears off and tender to the touch for a couple of days. Many clients refer to the level of discomfort to that of a minor sunburn or scratch.
Are there any side effects during or after the procedure?
During the procedure there may be some minor bleeding. This will depend on the client. If a person is taking blood thinners on a daily basis then some slight bleeding may occur. Bruising is rare but if a person is on blood thinners then bruising may occur. There is usually some tenderness for a few days and the color is darker than most expect for the first 7-10 days. We recommend you stop any Advil, Ibuprofen, fish oils for 1 week prior to your appointment. Avoid alcohol consumption for 48 hours before appointment. Before stopping any medications please ask your PCP.
Will my Microbladed Eyebrows look fake?
Absolutely not! When we implant semi-permanent makeup pigment into the skin it
appears more natural looking than even topically applied eyebrow
pencils, gels waxes or shading.
When will I see the final results?
A noticeable difference will be readily apparent immediately following the procedure. You will see our final results after the healing process is fully completed within 3 weeks.
What type of pigments do you use?We only use the best pigments available. We spend an enormous amount of time sourcing our products. Currently we use Everlasting Pigment. This product line and brand has proven to be the best quality and most natural looking pigment available.

What if I don’t like it?
Although the procedure is considered semi-permanent these types of procedures do have flexibility in changing color and shape to some extent. Colors will appear much darker immediately following the procedure but will soften and lighten during the healing process. The healing time is different for each individual.
Can I have my brows microbladed if I am pregnant or nursing?
No you cannot have this treatment if you are nursing or pregnant.
Eyelash Extensions are a popular service that add instant length and volume to your own natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to duplicate a natural eyelash.
The extensions are crafted from Synthetic Polyester, Faux Mink hair, and a Silk blend. While all our products are the best quality, synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. Also the synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin.
Most woman choose Eyelash Extensions to lengthen their natural lashes while others want their lashes to appear fuller. A number of woman with naturally light colored lashes choose Eyelash Extensions to darken their existing lashes. another great addition to wearing Lash Extensions is not having to wear mascara. Your new lashes will appear thicker and add instant volume.
If you experience sensitivity around the eye area or have allergies to any latex, band aids, acrylics or adhesives you may not be able to wear the Eyelash Extensions. Also, if you have had any type of eye surgery within 6 months or have a medical/physical condition which restricts you from laying down flat for the duration of the appointment, then I would strongly recommend NOT having the Eyelash Extension service done!
With the proper application, meaning one synthetic lash at a time. The synthetic lash is applied to one of your natural lashes. Once the eyelashes are applied they will look and feel very natural as if they were your own lashes.
For a first time appointment for a full set of Eyelash Extensions, it generally takes up to 3 hours to apply the Lash Extensions to both eyes. For touch up appointments the time may vary according to the condition your eyelashes are in.
Lash Extensions are semi- permanent and last up to 4-6 weeks. They fall out gradually with the cycle of your eyelash growth. You are continuously growing new lashes as the old ones fall out.
The price of the Lash Extensions can vary depending on the type of lashes you use and volume you are looking to achieve. Pricing for Mink/Silk lashes can run between $150-$400. Lash fills are usually between $60-$150. Please refer to my pricing page on the website.
Remove all traces of eye makeup including mascara and clean your lashes with a mild oil-free cleanser. Do not use a oil based make up remover to clean your lashes prior to your appointment. If you are a contact lens wearer, please remove your lenses and wear glasses to your appointment, or bring a contact lens case and remove the lenses prior to your appointment. Plan to set aside 3 hours for your first appointment.
We recommend getting a touch up every 2-3 weeks. If you wait too long your lash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. Your natural eyelashes fall off every 45-60 days due to the natural growth pattern and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. A touch up is needed to fill in any lashes that have fallen out. Touch ups average about 45 minutes to an hour.
Because lash extensions are applied to existing natural lashes you must have some natural lashes to receive the procedure.
No. Each Lash Extension is adhered to one single natural lash, which will grow out naturally as your own lash matures. The eyelash adhesive is formulated to create a solid bond, specifically for human lashes. Our glue is also Formaldehyde free. The adhesive dries very soft on the lashes allowing the lashes to stay flexible and bouncy just like your own lashes.
Please avoid any products that contain oil and steam while wearing the extensions as it will cause the adhesive to loosen, and the Eyelash Extension will fall out faster.
The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc. Special care is required but overall maintenance is low. We do recommend that you do NOT wash the eye area for 24 hours after the lash application.
Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara, it can be worn. Do NOT use water-proof or oil-based mascara, as this will dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your Lash Extensions.
We do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your Lash Extensions, as these curlers could damage the extensions and possibly your own lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl but if a curl is required we recommend using a heated eyelash curler.
Do not pull on the lash. Please contact us to make an appointment to have them removed or replaced in order to avoid damage to the natural lash.
Please refer to the eyelash extensions aftercare page on my website to see the steps for at home maintenance.
